The Right Way to Make a Bacon Cheeseburger

Juicy, beefy, with the right amount of seasoning this Bacon Cheeseburger was one of the best burgers I have ever tasted, and I am not saying that just because I made it! So here it is! by LetTheBakingBeginBlog.com
This past fourth of July I took on a task of making my own homemade burgers. They came out so crazy good that I just had to share them with you! Combined with my Golden Butter Sesame Burger Buns, these Homemade Bacon Burgers rocked our taste buds, so I thought Iโ€™d let you in on my success ๐Ÿ˜€ I had just bought a piece of good Beef Chuck and Smoked Bacon so I knew that I was going to make a Bacon Burger. Normally, for a bacon burger you cook the beef patty and bacon separately and then put one on top of the other, but these wereย to be cooked outside in the park, and you know me, if I can skip a step or make something easier, I will.ย  So, I decided to infuse every single bite with smokiness of the bacon and grind my smoked bacon together with the beef. Juicy, beefy, with the right amount of seasoning this Bacon Cheeseburger was one of the best burgers I have ever tasted, and I am not saying that just because I made it!ย  Make these and you will never buy the store-bought burger patties again. So here it is!

The Right Way to Make a Bacon Cheeseburger

Fill a 1/2 cup measuring cup with meat. Empty to a 5 inch round ramekin/lid. Press the meat in with the bottom of the measuring cup. Quickly invert the ramekin with meat onto a parchment paper square, tapping a few times to release (moistening the ramekin with spray bottle helps the patties to release). Continue with the above method until all meat is gone, putting a piece of parchment or wax paper between each patty. Refrigerate or freeze until ready to use, wrapping tightly with plastic wrap.

    • Hi Lucy,
I got about 22 or 24 I think ๐Ÿ™‚ If you want to make them thicker, just fill the 1/2 cup measuring cup a little more, but you will get less of them ๐Ÿ™‚

  • That looks good! I will try making it my own from now on. My family and me are very picky as far as the cleanliness of the food preparation process. That’s why we very are rarely eat out, maybe on special occasions. Our lesson: ones I bought a cheeseburger at McDonald’s for my 3 year old daughter, and was watching it being made. The cook wiped off the ketchup and what ever was on around it of the counter top and then wrapped the cheeseburger. ๐Ÿ™

    • Thanks Valya! Yeah, fast food places are not exactly known for their cleanliness ))) But hey, there’s at least one reason why burgers should be homemade ๐Ÿ™‚
