Chocolate Walnut Brownie Recipe

Step Away, Starbucks Brownies! - you've got nothing on this Chocolate Walnut Brownie that's fudgy, yet light with a sprinkle of walnuts to balance out the flavors. by Let the Baking Begin!
This Chocolate Walnut Brownie Recipe makes incredibly moist, rich brownies that are well offset with the addition of walnuts. Not only the walnuts take away from the sweetness, but they also add some complexity in flavor. These brownies are the reason I always make sure to keep a bag or two of the baking milk chocolate chips. When the cravings strikes, 30 minutes and you’ve got something super delicious to tame the cravings!

You could enjoy these right out of the oven with a scoop of cold vanilla ice cream, or cold. The cold ones go well with a hot cup of coffee! Enjoy!

Add 1/3 to 1/2 cup chopped walnuts and gently stir. Spray a 9×9 baking pan or dish with nonstick spray, or line with parchment paper. Pour the batter into the pan and sprinkle the top with 1/4 cup chopped chocolate. Bake in a preheated to 350F oven for about 20-25 minutes. Every oven is different so you will have to see if this is enough time or you need to bake it some more. The center of the brownie should still be a little wiggly, but not runny. If you overbake it, the brownie will lose its moistness.

Remove from the oven and cool. Do not slice until the brownies are completely cool or they will not cut well.
