Garlic Shrimp
Yield: 16 pcs Jumbo Shrimp
Ingredients for Garlic Shrimp:
- Jumbo Shrimp, uncooked, thawed, peeled, deveined
- garlic powder
- black pepper, ground
- salt, kosher, to taste
- Olive oil, for frying
How to make Garlic Shrimp:
Thaw, peel & devein your raw shrimp.
Sprinkle with whatever seasoning you like. I used garlic powder, black pepper & salt.
Heat skillet with couple tablespoons oil until almost a smoking point.
Carefully place some shrimp on the skillet trying not to overcrowd the skillet, to prevent drastic loss of heat. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
Turn to the other side.
Once turned to the second side, cover with lid and cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until it’s cooked through.
When cooked, the shrimp will curl up even more. Remove to a serving platter and stick each shrimp with a tiny skewer.
Serve hot, right away.
Bon Appetit!

how far in advance those can be made? couple hours or right before the party?
Hi Olga, It depends on how you would like to serve them. If you want them just at room temperature, you can make them couple hours ahead, refrigerate and then bring back to room temperature, or if you want them hot, then make them right before serving.
I’ve been searching everywhere for those skewers, Where did you find them please??
